On November 5th, 2022, AYLUS Cheshire Branch volunteered at the annual Cheshire Food Drive. The Food Drive collects food from donations and the Cheshire Public Schools. After receiving the food, the volunteers were tasked with lifting them off the truck, sorting them into their respective categories, as well as checking for expiration dates on food items. Additionally, some volunteers made boxes which the sorted food would be put into and carried to people in need. The number of boxes made on this day was enough to satisfy the needs of the boxes for the entire duration of the event (2 days). Below are some pictures of the event:
